That's probably some kind of thing that is bad for business or something, but boy would it be great for us to have the options. It would still allow, perhaps even encourage mixed colors, but give you the options to mix and match as you like, and allow for just one color if you wish. My favourites are the pink and green ones, followed by yellow. I don't much care for the default red and blue. Wait, there are mirrored green & pink joy cons (going from the playasia link) or is this just concept art....

These are awesome. Too bad I despise the joy cons and refuse to play anything unless it’s with a pro controller or Hori split pad.Two joy-con can be used independently in each hand or together as one game controller when attached to the joy-con grip (sold separately) On one hand, the tablet itself feels like it's a great build quality and the screen looks fantastic. Keep collections to yourself or inspire other shoppers! Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places.

I already have too many of these stupid things. I'm not going to buy any more. ....at least, not until they produce Yoshi variants. Which I doubt will happen, but hey, you never know. I definitely fall into the owning a set of grey controllers because the Neon set switch was sold out at launch category.

Shop Nintendo

Really, though. I only really like Splatoon ones. Others are OK, but Pokemon and Smash editions seem truly bland and uninspired. Why, Nintendo, why?! Just to test I put the brand new Joycons on the old switch, and it wobbled. and vice versa the old joycons on the new console, no wobble. I have all of them (plus straps) except for the grey and Smash ones. I assume that the Smash ones would be read as standard grey ones by the console, again assuming that each Joy-Con only contains a single colour code which is identifiable by the console. Awesome colors though I don't need any more sets of Joy-Cons in my household at the moment. My kids primarily play on their own handhelds, and I already have 3 sets of Joy-Cons. I got grey because I’m an old gamer. Come on Nintendo, release more shades of grey (just not fifty of them)

When he’s not paying off a loan to Tom Nook, Liam likes to report on the latest Nintendo news and admire his library of video games. His favourite Nintendo character used to be a guitar-playing dog, but nowadays he prefers to hang out with Judd the cat. Can also attach to the main console for use in handheld mode, or be shared with friends to enjoy two-player action in supported games. Released to coincide with the launch of the wonderful Super Mario Odyssey, these red Joy-Con are a great choice for those who wish neon colours were left in the '90s along with dungarees and bum-bags. These red Joy-Con are stylish and yet understated, a perfect choice for someone who wants to express themselves without drawing too much unwanted attention from paparazzi.

alienfossils I get why they do two different colors. When I got my original Switch I almost went with the gray, but went with the red and blue instead and I've actually liked the duel colors... It flows. Does anybody have any intel on this? I can't find anything but I'm hardly up to date on this stuff. Thanks in advance! Honestly, Joy-Cons are a huge missed opportunity. Both themed paint jobs and different buttons like we saw in the concepts (SNES buttons + colours!) just after the Switch was announced would sell like hot cakes. Sad to see the joycons are still not that sturdy, and with someone that has OCD when it comes to pricey electronics this bothers me more than I'd like to admit. These look really nice! Surprised it took them just over 6 years to cop onto the idea of pastel Joy-Cons but better late than never I suppose, definitely interested in grabbing at least one of these at some point!
